Vodafone InnoV8 · Christchurch NZ

Located in Christchurch’s ‘Innovation Precinct’ on Tuam St, Vodafone’s newly built headquarters named ‘InnoV8’ is an exemplary showcase in technology and sustainability, not only in NZ, but worldwide.

InnoV8 delivers wireless technology throughout its 5 level, 8,900 square-meter premise – Partnering with Architects Jasmax, Workscape, and Kada Commercial Furniture, CMS delivered customized Quantum series wireless charging pads with integrated USB Fast Charge and USB 3.0 Data pass-through for workstations and collaborative areas.  InnoV8 also features smartphone security and visitor access and wireless AV integration for meeting rooms.

Working with Melray Electrical, CMS Apollo FL Floorboxes were supplied to the boardrooms, workstations and collaborative areas delivering concealed access to power data and AV throughout the fit-out.

The building has also achieved a 5 Green Star Building rating, utilising FSC-certified timber, passive solar, LED lighting, increased natural light and air flow and diverted waste to recycling.

Vodafone’s InnoV8 is not just another ‘smart’ building, rather it represents a new benchmark set by the brand, combining leading edge wireless technology with a fractional environmental footprint.

CMS Electracom are proud to have been able to partner with Vodafone to deliver this significant fit-out, declared by NZ PM John Key as the ‘most technologically advanced building he’s opened’
