Insurance provider QBE moved to a new office in the CBD Docklands district, relocating over 400 of their Melbourne staff. The mission was to create a vigorous workspace solution designed for continual changes in the business.

The Challenge:

The large open plan office has workstations set into neighbourhoods housing 12-24 people including personal lockers and shared storage. The office layout caters to various workplace needs with an assortment of different workspace styles, from focused singular sit to stand desks, breakout areas for collaboration, and meeting rooms while also offering a comfortable environment for their clients to visit.

The Solution:

The CMS Athena power rail has been fitted to the desktops providing staff with convenient power access to charge their devices while working. CMS softwiring connectors have been used to distribute power to the CMS power rails, the CMS wiring system is a tool-less plug-in-play connector which saves on labour and material costs. All wiring is neatly tucked away and out of sight inside our Cirqlate Umbilicals and also the Dynamo monitor arms. The tool-less height and tilt adjustable Dynamo Monitor arms have been fitted to the desktops to help minimise eye and posture strain. CMS Titan floor boxes have been installed into the floor, access to power on the floor was critical for the fit-out spaces.
