The Midtown Centre is the newest headquarters for Brisbane Rio Tinto. The Midtown Centre, a state-of-the-art commercial building, is a product of two merged skyscrapers and offers 46,000 square office space with some of the largest floor plates in Brisbane’s CBD.

Perigon and Schiavello QLD selected CMS to supply both base build and fit-out for this project. As part of the fit-out, Rio Tinto required workstation power and cable reticulation for workstations, Athena Power Rails were implemented above the desks to provide personal power and USB-C Fast charging.

As part of the base build, 5 pole DALI lighting backbone as well as Titan custom floor box solutions were delivered for easy access to power. For this project, custom floor lids were manufactured to allow for designer flooring along with hybrid power posts incorporating both power pole and umbilical sections.
