The Challenge:

Westpac sought to modernise the way their offices supplied integrated charging for their staff’s mobile devices including phones and laptops.  The brief was for all staff to have convenient access to charge their phones and laptops at all workstations.

 

The Solution:

CMS was able to help make this a seamless experience for Westpac, being able to retrofit the latest spec Athena above-desk power rails to the existing office furniture and current softwiring structure.

The Athena power rails were specified with 1 x GPO as well as 60W USB C & A charging ports.  This new charging technology was developed to safely deliver up to 60W PD charging to the latest USB-C Laptops all the major OEMs including HP, DELL and LENOVO, all without the requirement of the OEM powerpack.
